Lucknow Nursing Homes Association was formed in the year 2000 in Lucknow at Krishna Medical center. The representative body of nursing homes of Lucknow was formed and elected Dr. Madhu Gupta as President and Dr. Anup Agarwal as Secretary of the association. Association started with branches in KAVAL towns of the state and gradually had its branches in almost all the cities of the state. Association also started its annual conference in year 2000 as UPNCON which was carried forward till today. UPNCON was hosted by Lucknow for first 3 years and then by Ghaziabad, Bareilly, Gorakhpur and Agra. Association also started its news paper with the name of Nursing Home Bulletin in the year 2001. This is the only news paper of its kind in the country. In the year 2007 the NHB was made available on the official web site LNHA at http://lnha.upnha.com
